FAQ’s

Do you take credit cards and/or personal checks?
Credit cards are accepted with a $20 minimum purchase. We do not accept checks at this time.
Do you hold items?
Items may be held only for the duration of time you remain on premises.
Do you ship or deliver?
Unfortunately, no. Please make appropriate arrangements. NOTE: Queen City Estate Sales reserves the right to schedule removal of items which may present safety concerns or cause disruption for our clientele, staff or event.
Can I buy beforehand or afterwards?
Nope. All purchases must be completed during sale hours. Once a sale has closed for the day, all pending offers are terminated. Once a sale has concluded, we regret that we are unable to entertain further offers.
Can you sell cars, boats, trucks, motorcycles, tractors and the lot? What about guns? What about the house?
YES to one and all! Obviously, there’s behind-the-scenes complexities involving logistics and documentation – titles, registration, state and federal regulations, transportation, paperwork (always paperwork!) and such – but generally yes. QC Estate Sale prides itself on consulting with and leveraging our extensive portfolio of professional business assets, amplifying capabilities to serve your every need – getting the job done.
What's required for lead time?
While variables such as scheduling, estate size/condition and even weather come into play, 2 weeks is typically a good rule of thumb. Ideally, the more time the better to bring out the best in your estate, maximizing return. Avoid anyone that claims they’ll stage in a day! They don’t care about you – or your estate – and are guaranteed to lose you money.
Family is out of state, can this be handled long-distance?
Absolutely! We’ll happily coordinate efforts with your realtor or estate representative, protecting property integrity and ensuring documents & items identified as important or of sentimental value are preserved and returned.
What’s a sign up sheet?
An antiquated idea of keeping order at the beginning of an estate sale or at the start of each business day.

A sign up sheet is used to keep order at the beginning of a sale. It gets posted on the front door during the week leading up to the sale. At the start of the sale we call names one at a time in order to ensure the safety of the people entering. When we feel the residence has reached its capacity we stop calling names. We call more names after a few people have left.
